Please note the context. Literally, every article coming out of this area of the world were proclaiming the glory of DDR and the foolish, deserved and quick death of RDRAM. This is where the bargain PCs are made.

But as we suffering RMBS followers have seen, just over and over again, this is just not the case. That in fact the opposite is true. The DDR window is shut closed. RDRAM is shipping in volume, RDRAM is the better technology on the desktop, RDRAM does not provide just minuscle incremental performance improvements, and the one DDR savings grace: it is cheap, is no longer the case. RDRAM price premium is comparable to DDR.

Just the dang stock price:( Nothing worse than being poor but right. Reminds me of Danny Partridge (since I can't spell his last name I'll leave it at that). He said that following the Partridge Family he would walk the streets during the day, with an occasional acting opportunity like a movie of the week or something, get autograph requests all day, and then go home to his automobile at night. Kind of a hollow victory. Of course this situation did improve for Danny as well.

But just want to reiterate the point of look at the market, and what is happening, lawsuits or not lawsuits. And RMBS may still win the current lawsuits. Certainly enough going on to make those who follow Rambus excited despite their waning holdings at the moment.
