| Pat, I have attended their services on several occasions, and lived across the street from a Pentecostal church for almost 3 years. I speak from my experience, and you say you speak from yours. We have had different experiences. You went to one Pentecostal church. I have gone to several. Even so, if they want to shout the praises of the Lord, sing as loud as an opera, or dance like a whirling dervish, within the confines of their church building, that is their privilege, and right. You will not see them doing such things in public, like making asses out of themselves like Jesse Jackson does. I, purposely, did not use the honorific, Reverend, because he has no church, and does not live his life in reverence. A lot of people do not live their lives in reverence, but they don't go around trying to convince the public that they do, like Jesse. |
