In 2 or 3 years, GSM will also be a nice niche market just like analog. Actually, the conversion to WCDMA will wipe out GSM much faster than the conversion of analog to digital since the the switch from analog to CDMA was evolutionary. Who knows, maybe the Euro's will go with QCOM multimode chips which allow for multimode GSM/WCDMA solutions. That would be a real shame!! <g>
