Well third, the harvesting of the rain forest includes burning to create farms and cutting down all the forest. This creates CO2 and removes plants that would remove CO2. So it may or may not have anything to do with the rain forest. It also leads to erosion problems. But the destruction of so much live area with little in the way of cries from the greenies and all the hoopla about anwar where very little biomass grows most of the time seems really dumb to me.
