Wow! Just saw this headline in your post and was surprised.
That kind of switch would sure send a signal of where the future lies.

Is this somehow be also connected to the delays in 3G launches in Europe and Japan.

What a turn of events for the prospects for QCOM. I was writing them off a while ago and sticking only with companies like Nokia (which I still like) in the wireless sector.

QCOM should be the top pick in large cap tech stocks, IMHO.

BTW--China Unicom story coinciding with all these other developments lately says that the momentum is with CDMA.
