Well, it is now final. Carter will be broken up and sold in two pieces. Value placed on Carter is about $20.40. Earlier there was speculation that Carter would go for much more. Many people, including yours truly was surprised that Carter did not go for more. Watching the run up in Carter earlier on this speculation reminds me of the strategy of taking part of ones marbles off of the table-----hope that those in this stock did so. mj
