Where do you get that idea.. They have a lot of arid land, but desert probably does not consists of more than 5 - 10% of their land mass. The rest is very lush and even tropical. But you probably have as much percentage of land in Finland that never thaws. You must go there.. You will have a blast. The sights will take your breath away. and the shopping is incredible, makes you feel as if you are stealing things, all these wonderful things..
