IBxx - Do you really think the "houses" have all that much clout? Voltaire used to use talk in the same terms and I just couldn't see the connection. M Maybe there is a sort of market mechanism, maybe an algorithm built into most comuter trading progrmas that cuases this to happen innocently, automatically so that it kind of ties its large buying program to its open option position and that many funds have options at a certain prise to automaticlaly protect thier portfolios. Maybe that way the houses are seen to be apparently trying to do something together but otherwise I jsut can't see it. Is there any evidence that large moves are dealyed inthe week before option expiry? Best regards, L
