Business management can be practiced by anyone with sensible conception of income and expenses(fixed and variable). Many corporate executives, however, are specialized. They seldom look at the finances in simple terms. So, making money is difficult for many corporations.

The most important subject matters beyond Harvard business school, are financial planning, turn around, and execution in operations(productivity and efficiency). Marketing, quality control, and accounting practices, etc. will not be touched on, unless(they are) to support the business philosophy and formulate a direction for the business.

So, business case history will be used extensively to illustrate, what works and what does not work in business management.
