5/16/01 CAPITAL ALLIANCE GROUP INC. ("CPT-V") - $500,000 Private Placement Toby Chu, President and C.E.O of Capital Alliance Group Inc. announces that the Company has negotiated, subject to Canadian Venture Exchange acceptance, a private placement to raise $500,000 by the issuance of 1,000,000 special warrants at a price of $0.50 per special warrant. Each special warrant will be exercisable, at no additional cost, into one unit consisting of one common share and one share purchase warrant, each warrant entitling the holder to purchase one additional common share of the company at a price of $0.62 per share for a period of two years following the closing date. The funds raised under this private placement will be used for business development and general working capital purposes. A finders fee is payable in connection with this private placement.
