C&W eyes PSINet ..... but no hurry to spend cash 16/05/01 12:24:38 LONDON, May 16 (Reuters) - British telecoms company Cable & Wireless Plc said it could take a year to decide how to spend its six-billion-pound cash pile, and was looking at buying parts of teetering U.S. Internet firm PSINet Inc . "If we're sitting here in 12 months' time and we've still got a great pile of cash I'd be surprised...but it may be the case," Chief Executive Graham Wallace told a press briefing. Asked about buying PSINet, which has warned it may go out of business or reorganise in bankruptcy, he said: "We get shown various bits of it which we always look at."
