I'm not getting your argument. Today you say that burning coal is safe for the environment now under current regs, but yesterday you were arguing that the regs should be loosened. BTW, re: combustion wastes, I don't mean what comes out the stacks, I mean fly ash, bottom ash aand/or slag. Presently most of which is being landfilled. Last year the EPA determined that unless they are recycled, they are covered by RCRA. Just because they don't get into the air doesn't mean they have no environmental impact. The regs haven't been developed yet but they will be. More overhead. acaa-usa.org
