Rule 1: Never write e-mails and post messages while drunk ;0)~

I should have been clearer about Lucent and 3 Com. Lucent will be cut up and sold off into pieces, the rest will be toast.

3Com is little harder. What was discussed here in the hall ways of the Hilton is that 3Com may not have the cash to hold off the lions until business picks up. 1 plus billion is alot of cash now, but how quickly is 3Com burning through it? Out side of how much business we have lost due to 3Com declining revenues is all I really have to go on.

For distributors, check out TTI or Pioneer Electronics as potential acquisitions. Arrow Electronics is looking for a IP&E distributor and TTI is rumored to be the favorite. Avnet just purchased Kent.

As shorts, Solectron, Flextronics and Jabil have way too much inventory on the shelf. My guess is they will take a charge next quarter. Cisco is in deeper trouble than most realize. Cisco isn't going to make much money this year so how can you justify their stock price?

Good luck.
