Interesting that they would hint at QCOM's comments about China's acceptance of CDMA being actionable. Perhaps Lord Cabi of the GSM Round Table would like to comment on the legal merits of government coerced support of technology standards (UMTS) that do not even exist. It will be interesting to see if the WCDMA standards can be produced on time for the June deadline. Given the comments by the operators and the equipment manufacturers, my guess is that the WCDMA standards process will not be completed by June due to the problems with asynchronous handoff and excess SAR limits.
