The other thing that happened as I became more aware of the pure beauty of soccer was my disdain for the pure tedium of baseball and the limited action of buttheads. I also find that the end of close basketball games where minutes of playing time take tens of minutes also destroys the flow of the sport. But on sports beauty is in the mind of the beholder.
