rruff, I offer another suggestion to the possibilities proffered in your last message. It seems to me that PA might kill two birds with one stone were he to merge TMTA with MCOM and market Crusoe and Ricochet2 together. TMTA thus far has been unsuccessful in selling Crusoe to any American Notebook computer manufacturer (Toshiba, Sony and others are using it, primarily in Japan) although the server version seems to be going to IBM via RLX, the private company founded by former Compaq execs. The value of Crusoe over conventional microprocessors is its versatility (Windows & Linux); lengthening battery life and reducing heat. (INTC and AMD already have received Notebook orders for their versions of less energy demanding and heat producing microprocessors.) Crusoe and Ricochet2 seem natural companions in a combined marketing effort...Now, if someone would mention this thought to Savoy or another of VV's execs at TMTA or MCOM...Disclaimer: I am not becoming pauperized nearly as much in TMTA as in MCOM.
