In the spirit of all great conspiracy theories here is the scenario to get AXC to $15. $16mm license agreement from 1999 was for use in Playstation2 chip. Chip is EXTREMELY fast and powerful enough to decode the most sophisticated video CODECs. Sony hooks up with Real today. Sony needs streaming content & AXC front-end tech to match AXC back-end tech embedded in the PS2 chip. The power of the PS2 chip enables MPEG2 quality @ 100kbps. We have a lock on an estimated 10mm PS2 users with programs like Gamepro Minutes, couch confessions, and the rest. Sell ads. We are exclusive provider of video & video services to get onto the PS2 Video Network. We are all very rich. This won't happen but it would have been nice if someone at AXC had some foresight. marketwatch.com
