jhp, i'm with ya. they are probably going to price down the demand curve - as they should if the market supports it.

is there any competition circling?

does the paging network really have huge advantages over cell networks? i know the latter is bad ;-) what % of us coverage is available?

btw, i wouldn't expect similar results as 1999. gems will grow with fundamentals and it seems they have a neat product. the question is competition.

btw, i do a big consumer market for these items, too. they would be great for safety purposes.
