The more extreme they are, the less I like them. The more moderate and tolerant they are, the more I like them.
Funny how that statement is applied to Arabs, but not to the Israelis. As for the Israelis...
As for Israel, they have been a nation fighting for their very existence from the onset of their declaration of independence.
Gee, using tanks to roll over refugee camps, using gunships to attack civilian police, and using mortars to shell brick villages ain't exactly fighting a war of independence. And of course, by your definition they are not acts of extreme and intolerance either. It's funny how when it comes to Israel, the media brainwashed automatically assume that Israeli actions on the Gaza and West Bank are a matter of survival. Yeah, like those Palestinians alone can threaten the existence of Israel. Fcat is, the what'd going on over there is nothing but a case of the oppressed becoming the oppressor. American, thanks to the media, is buying into the Israeli position willingly...
I wonder, are you Jewish? It seems like every Jewish person I talk to seem to think that Israel is somehow "threatened" by those Palestinian youths wielding rocks...I especially like the following article today on how the Israeli Army killed a Palestinian school boy and how they used tanks to uproot fruit trees...yep, those acts are VITAL to national existence!
