Here, from the Culinary Arts Institute Cookbook:

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
4 cups cold water
3/4 cup lemon (or lime) juice

But you dissolve the sugar and water, then boil it for 5 minutes. I don't know if I like that.

There is another one for a frothy lemonade which uses egg whites and honey. ???
