Micromuse (MUSE) 39.10 +3.76: This afternoon, CSFB reiterates STRONG BUY rating and price target of $44 following investor
day; firm says despite company's acknowledgement that they are facing a more challenging environment, firm cites continued solid
execution with strong pipeline and MUSE's confidence in June quarter estimates of top-line $62.3 mln and EPS of $0.12.

CIENA Corp (CIEN) 57.16 +1.72: UBS Warburg sees CIEN meeting or slightly exceeding their estimate of $402 mln in revenues
and $0.16 EPS when they report tomorrow morning; says relevant areas in the quarter will be outlook, gross margin performance and
CoreDirector sales/outlook; expects company to maintain current fiscal year guidance and to be cautiously optimistic for the year, rather
than purely bullish.

Brocade Comms (BRCD) 43.70 +1.20: Before the open, AG Edwards reiterates ACCUMULATE rating and price target of $55;
lowers FY01 EPS estimate to $0.43 from $0.45.

Target Corp (TGT) 37.60 -0.64: Banc of America Securities in their Mid-Day note says they remain cautiious ahead of Q1 earnings,
relative to margins and low comps.

Openwave (OPWV) 34.20 +2.99: In their Tech Intra-Daily, CSFB reiterates STRONG BUY following their announcement to provide
Telecom New Zealand with its Mobile Access Gateway solution; says with 1.2 mln subscribers, customer win confirm's thesis that OPWV
can continue to marketshare.
