The following is my opinion only!!!!!!!!

The Preakness will be a different race than the Derby. A shorter race, a shorter home stretch
and Pimlico speed bias.

Ignoring post positions, which should not be a big factor, I see Congaree a big winner.
My money will be placed on his nose. I cannot separate 3 horses to run behind him, so I
will use the highest price of Monarchos, Mr. John and Point Given. I don't play a lot of
exotic bets, but they are sometimes fun in big races. Also there will be a ot of folks at
Pimlico on Saturday who have not attended a race since last May. They will bet entries
like crazy(50% sale theory); they will bet some well known local trainers who are well
pst their primes, and never do well on Preakness day, and will bet the top local jockeys,
who don't usually do well against the Days and Baileys of the world. If you are going
to a simulcast, watch those angles.

Don't bet too much, and kill my prices<GGG>.

Good luck,

Bob
