The only ting I can figure on this is the slew of earnings yesterday was the last of the big techs except for HWP tonight which is a has been, who cares, and then DELL tomorrow which has already said it will make the numbers. Everyone knows earnings warnings season is coming so if you are going to go long, you only have a week or two to do so without having to worry about your stock warning and gapping down 50% over night. They may be buying now only to dump in the next week or two. Earliest in, has the most cushion built up in case of bad news.

I know this probably sounds silly but it is about the only way to spin this action in light of all the bad news. Look at AMAT, it is up after saying they will be lucky if they can break even. At the rate they are going, they will have negative earings before the year is over. NTAP was down 2 all morning and now is up two. No other FA can explain this.
