>> craig, you are assuming that everyone on si, including the one you are defending, is an open book. that is a VERY big assumption in this case..... <<

Ok, apparently people think they've been lied to, manipulated, hoodwinked, etc. I keep hearing about this, but never seem to catch the details. Perhaps William made a few mistakes over the past year, and maybe people thought he was too enthusiastic about his picks. That's hardly worth trashing him over just about every day. Just how exactly has he lied, manipulated, or hoodwinked anyone?

P.S. If you're wondering why I seem to be taking up the defend William cause, it's because from my experience reading his posts he seems to be quite a likable fellow. He never struck me as a bullshitter (except when he tried to justify the valuations of his stocks which I never took seriously), but when it came to actually what he was doing in the market he seemed to be a straight shooter. That's why I don't understand why everyone seems to be trashing him. I guess it's possible that when I was away from SI from Mar - Dec of last year that he suddenly changed character, but I have yet to see anyone point to anything specific.
