Mel and Everyone - Just received a flier on the ICE (Internet Commerce Expo) in Anaheim, CA. E-data is not listed. This would appear to be the ideal place to bring up the issue of the patent. I would not be surprised if E-data was booed off the podium, but this is something that needs to be done if we're serious about this! The site for ICE is: idg.com or call 1-800-667-4ICE (4423) Fax: 1-508-370-4325. Jim Manzi, Bob Metcalf and Bob Herbold of Microsoft is speaking. E-data should be presenting one of the seminars about how to license digital commerce on the WEB! Let's get the word out. I will e-mail E-data but we must use this opportunity to get the message of the patent out or they will not consider us serious! This has got to be a very cost effective way of getting the message out. This conference starts Sept 9th and we must move now. THIS IS SERIOUS!
