The graphs are interesting, but the precision is somewhat lacking. It would be a very difficult call to discriminate between the 50, 55, or 60 strikes, especially when the stock can easily move 10 points in a day.

Do you know if the author has correlated the MaxPain call vs the closing price upon expiry? That would be an interesting exercise and prove out the concept.
