I just spent an hour reading the KREM thread posts. I do think this stock has a tremendous potential. it has a dedicated and almost cult-like customer base and its present owners bought it back from Beatrice Foods when it was sold once before, so as to preserve the integrity of the product. while not cheap, i feel it could be a HUGE gainer over time in the Buffett perspective. Plus they have just added a gourmet coffee/espresso property. the brand name recognition is in some areas of the country akin to Coca Cola. Many short sellers voice thier frustration. the company has been in business since 1937.
I haven't felt this way about a stock since I first found Dell Computer (much later in the game for Dell)
I see absolutely no long term downside. From what i read, there could be some insider selling after lockup expiration of this year old IPO (that deadline passed in April) but the main people are holding their stock closely it seems.
It is a very interesting play, Warren Buffett would surely find it so. Of course, it is not cheap.
I am open to any thoughts from this thread.
