Palestinians in and of themselves, are not a threat to Israel. It is the teaching to Palestinian children, from a very young age, that Israel is an enemy and that the Jews must be driven into the sea. Although Arafat has said that this long held tenet of the PLO would be changed, in fact it has not been changed. Once taught that martyrdom is wonderful, and with money paid to families whose kids are willing to strap a bomb to their belly to become one, this creates a cycle of violence. On the other side of the coin, ultrareligious Jews believe that the land is theirs by divine right. If you were to remove the extremist elements from both sides, you might find rationality and a basis for peace. But that would be tough to do. Your position on the matter sounds somewhat prejudiced in the sense of a racial/ethnic bias. The truth is often more complex than the media can discuss with the 6PM Television audience. And by the way, the big media companies are not controlled by Jews in an underground secret cabal somewhere. The media giants are publicly traded corporations controlled by such clandestine firms like Fidelity, Janus, etc.
