When you said you are an auditor, I assumed CPA/accountant. Since you are long RMBS, I assumed in your DD, you would do some FA and look at their financial statements. Many accountants who invest do.

Sometimes, out of the goodness of their hearts, participants in a stock discussion group are more than willing to apply their area of expertise and make meaningful contribution to educate the rest of the 'great unwashed'.

Any conjecture we have on the contents and applicability of those contracts without looking at them is just speculation. I'm guessing that if the terms are as onerous as you claim, anyone who actually signs it must have a very weak lawyer doing their negotiations for them. But anything is possible. Respectfully, even pigs could fly in a parallel universe where they have wings.
