Seems like there should be a Gorilla response at some point, unless this mere 7% of the business is considered unimportant.

Do we consider other companies as overall gorillas based on 7% of their product? Seems to me that, if routers are only 7% of Cisco's business, then either this isn't what makes Cisco a gorilla or Cisco isn't one.

We have had at least one recent reminder that software is a key part of Cisco's position. I would suggest that another part is the "wholeness" of their solution. Wholeness can easily include a component which has been largely commoditized.
