Bill: Re: Tax cut and where the money is going.

Sounds alright to me. Who pays most, should get back most. A lot of tax payers will fall off the tax rolls evtl. and I personally will be happy with any little tax cut I am getting. Tax bracket rate cuts are the only way to go imo.

I don't believe that low income people will be short changed. Paying NO taxes and getting money back to boot, does not sound too bad to me.
Payroll taxes: The lower income people get the most benefits for their contributions. So, I don't get the beef.

I guess you have a diff. opinion. So, why don't we just agree that we disagree. gg.

And, being partly retired now, I am just a low middle income tax payer which means that I don't benefit too much from this tax cut either. But some of my children with children will benefit which is alright with me.

BTW, a cap gains tax reduction would be nice. There is some talk that it may come evtl. in the form of only counting 50% of the gain and then your tax bracket. And there is talk that long term may be 6 mos. But I am not holding my breath on those things yet.
