So you're saying it's possible that the earth is oval shaped?

Who's the gullible one here after all? -g-

Seriously, I have no problem with you or Solon objecting to the wrongs perpetrated in the name of religion. Some of the worst atrocities in history have doubtless been perpetrated under religious(Christian, Muslim, Hindu, etc., take your pick) guise. However, the same can be said for science, which has allowed humanity to kill much quicker as we have "evolved". Which is worse? Hacking one another with swords, standing in lines a mile long and shooting muskets at point blank range, nuking a town in Japan, poisoning our own citizens in the name of progress, aborting 22 million children?

What's your solution for man's inhumanity to man? I believe Jesus is real and is God. That keeps me from falling too deep into what I call depravity. I still blow it on a daily basis. but, I do have a goal in mind. What goal does science or evolution have? If evolution is the answer, I'd say the motor is running in reverse! The world is, IMHO, worse off now than 5,000 years ago. Again, what's your solution?
