Sorry, I'm not qualified. Let me ask you a question: Do you think Intel is incapable of addressing these issues?

OK..... we have our first cop out. Off to a bad start. As for your question....... (IF) this hot spot theory which could cause processor failure is real, then Intel has All READY solved the problem. They introduced clock throttling. I think the issue is (AND YOU KNOW IT) whether this is acceptable for a supposed high performance processor and what the repercussions regarding public acceptance will be. OK..... can the next thread regular chime in???
