I agree that the dwdm market opportunity represents excellent potential. However, there are some technology issues to be sorted out before we get too excited. The two other technologies to date Bragg grating filters and surface wave filters have solutions which don't use optical filters. If OCLI is successful in increasing the density from the current 4-8 channels to 16 over the next couple of qtrs., it could do a great deal toward cementing their leadership position. They will do somewhere between $10 mil and $20 mil this year in sales from this tech. profits will be re-invested in R&D to accomplish the above. Significant growth next year if they can hold on to the leadership position. By the way, Cien doesn't buy filters from the JT, they use the Bragg filters.

Street estimates are $.60 this year and $1.00 next
