david, institutional investors bought stocks to irrational bubble levels. you still want to use them as a "guide" for good investments? good luck! ;-)

gems is not a play on past or current revenues. it is a play on future revs and earnings. their new product appears to have a very viable market. wouldn't you like your child to have a "panic button" that automatically located them in case of an emergency? that is where the tech is going and i don't think many parents would say "no."

it is also a no brainer for many businesses. a company called lojack competes in the auto / trucking industry so that situation has to be analyzed.

but to write off gems b/c fund managers have been selling is silly. that would only guarantee a person would buy high and sell low!

don't believe the hype, but don't arbitrarily dismiss a potential opportunity fore silly reasons.
