Hi Joel, How are you doing? Don't see you posting much. Hope all is well. FWIW, as much as I'm for free speech, I'm glad that SI offers moderated threads....... because what has happened here & the porch (& elsewhere) is not so much about free speech as it is about abusing the right to free speech to the detriment of others who have created a community with standards that community members have agreed to abide by...... and those who don't wish to be part of the community are free to start their own thread & are completely free to express themselves any way they wish...... Considering how time compressed our lives are, it is nice to be able to peruse your favorite threads without having to wade through countless posts of BS due to some venom queen (of either or both genders <g>) who's intentions are to destroy & disrupt by any means necessary. Moderated threads are great for keeping those venom queens from trampling everyone else's rights. That's my POV & I'm sticking to it. Be well. Ö¿Ö
