skeeter, your situation and mine is virtually identical. pay ca income tax and pay ca and wa property taxes. at least i don't have a road assessment fee ! is it based on property valuation or what ? i've heard of toll roads. common of course on the east coast and appearing in the west. but it does only seem fair in such cases to tax users, not just nearby residents.... i'd be interested in a quick thumbnail of the issue, as it is new to me.... thanks, rob
