I agree totally. With all the money and labor that has gone into batteries with no great improvements- one would think that someone would step 'out of the box' and dive into flywheels full force. Hasn't happened that I'm aware of.

Incredibly large amounts of energy can be stored with flywheels- the technology simply needs major development. Hmmmm- you ever write a proposal for a DOE grant?? <g>
