U.S. Robotics Corporation Redeems Rights Plan

SKOKIE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 1997--U.S. Robotics Corporation (NASDAQ:USRX - news) announced today that its Board of Directors approved the redemption of its stockholder rights plan in connection with the combination of U.S. Robotics Corporation and 3Com Corporation. The redemption price for the existing rights will be paid to stockholders of record immediately prior to the consummation of the merger. The redemption price for the existing rights will be $.001 per right, and will be paid by check on or about June 18, 1997.
