Richard, What is the p/e of NEM? What is its yield? How is NEM different from CSCO? Just take the emotion out. Stock ownership should provide a benefit to the owner. If there is no dividend, or the dividend is less than can be derived more safely elsewhere, then the sole purpose of ownership is speculation. Speculation is not rewarded unless a profitable sale is enacted at some point. The xau and gold have reached a point where it is reasonable from many viewpoints to pocket some profit.
