Hi unclewest; Re the Athlon recall. LOL!!! You already apologized to the thread once for this particular gaff. Here it is in full:

KZNerd, Sept 6, 1999, 8:18pm:
You say you're not technical but you must know the difference between a microprocessor and a motherboard. I would think that you'd also realize that the MSI Motherboard is just one of about 6 motherboards supporting Athlon.

So when you say: "... all of the current athlon production has been recalled...that is right 100% has been recalled." how should one take it? Calling it FUD is being generous.

20 months have gone by and you're still full of it. Here's another one of your posts while you were pursuing this particular fantasy. (Your "shift" key was, as usual, broken, so I've added capitalization. Also, your punctuation makes your posts nearly unreadable, so I've added some. Did I mention that in addition to being a clown, you're also a functionally illiterate clown? Maybe that's why you read the article wrong.)

"I have a new investment strategy for next week.

This Athlon recall info is not well known.
It has to come out next week imo.

This news of an AMD run 100% recall is going to cost AMD a ton in fixing already produced Athlons. It is going to cost them more in lost sales. Who wants a computer that won't start. Who would chance it? And now we know they do not have enough production to be profitable anyway.

I am going to short AMD Tuesday at the open.
This has to be the killer move. By Feb, AMD will probably have to file bankruptcy and the stock should be worthless.

Intel and Rambus longs should love this!

There's been Rambus investors that made a lot of money in this stock (none as much as management, of course), but more that lost money, and they've all been living in a dream world for years.
