No offense, but your argument seems pretty weak.

How can you compare Chamber's prediction in the Fall of 2000 with Benn's statement this past March?

A brick wall was definitely hit....but the wall was hit prior to March....so when Benn made his statement, he already knew about the brick wall but said basically that the wall didn't matter...that WIND's prospects were so strong that it would do 30% anyway. In fact, Benn argued that the wall could actually benefit WIND due to outsourcing...see Benn's reference to the end of the Cold War.

It's one thing to predict prior to a brick wall emerging ...it's quite another to predict after you've seen the wall.

You say that things will recover...I say that nobody knows enough to credibly argue such things. The guy who spoke with the most authority over the past 5 years doesn't even know what the hell is going on...how can you or I predict with any greater certainty?
