Conquistador seeks shareholder approval for name change Conquistador Mines Ltd CMG Shares issued 43,663,907 May 16 close $0.08 Thu 17 May 2001 News Release Dr. Raul Madrid reports At Conquistador Mines' annual general meeting scheduled for June 26, 2001, shareholders will be asked to authorize the consolidation of the company's share capital on the basis of 1:5. Shareholders will also be asked to approve a change of the company's name which is required by the policies of the Canadian Venture Exchange in connection with share consolidations.
