your post is amusing. I am somwhat tempted to ask you when
you will find it in your heart to stop placing misleading information on this
thread. but that would probably be a fruitless request.
If memory serves me correctly, SGI has made it repeatedly clear that
for the foreseeable future, Unix remains its operating system of choice due
to factors such as scalability and UMA.
It is extremely regrettable that posts such as those you have placed here
appear intended to raise questions about SGI's commitment to its
products. I would try to remind you that the company recently released
a Mips chip roadmap which stretches into the next millenium.
I am not a technical maven but am of the belief that the only NT products SGI is releasing involve Cosmo software for VRML purposes, a standard regarding which SGI apparently wishes to have input regardless of platform, and a limited AW product for renderfarms.
