Hi guys, in my previous post that I am replying to, I talked about distribution of movies and the economics of tape vs digital. tippet, in his infinite wisdom, believes that tape will be cheaper that digital distribution. I only have one thing to say to this, "tippet, YOU ARE THE WEAKEST LINK. GOODBYE!"

Anyway, here's a link to a WSJ article that talks about it in more detail. Some pretty big players are moving in this direction, so it may happen much sooner, maybe within the next 5 years. As I said before, videos getting downloaded over the Internet or distributed over the Internet is going to choke the current capacity. The bandwidth boom is far from over and companies like Cisco will come roaring back. It's only a matter of time.
