This came out today.

HDS Network Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:HDSX) announced Wednesday that its
@workStation Network Computer has been awarded yet another prestigious
magazine award in an independent comparison of Network Computers.

In the latest of a series of industry citations, the @workStation NC
has just been awarded the "Top of the World" award from SCO World
Magazine in a roundup article comparing five Network Computers from a
variety of manufacturers.

SCO World Magazine conducted an independent test of five Network
Computers, evaluating the machines in a variety of environments running
Windows, UNIX and Internet applications. Compared to the other NCs
tested, SCO World called the award to HDS a "slam dunk," and said "Our
hats are off, our thumbs are up, and our 'Top of the World' award goes
to HDS."

Some comments from the review include: "Whether you run UNIX, NT, or
both, the HDS Supra-66 handles whatever you want to throw at it," "The
HDS @workStation Supra-66 is an impressive unit ... ," "Windows
applications, UNIX character sessions, X applications, legacy systems
and Java are all here in one compact unit," "The interface will be
familiar to Windows '95 users ... ," and in summary, SCO World called
the @workStation the " ... all around winner in connectivity and power.
A good buy for the money."

The HDS @workStation is the world's first true Network Computer, with
the ability to run Windows, Java, Internet and legacy applications from
a simple-to-use desktop device. The @workStation is also the first
Network Computer available with both the Navigator and Spyglass web
browers, giving users a low-cost, easy-to-manage NC with the world's
most popular web browser.

Other capabilities of the @workStation include the ICA protocol for
accessing Windows applications over the Internet, full Java support,
and a suite of 32 terminal emulators for access to legacy systems. The
@workStation is available immediately world-wide from HDS and its
network of resellers with prices beginning at $699.

HDS's lead in the NC market has been widely recognized by customers and
in the industry press. Network Computing Magazine recently awarded the
@workStation NC its coveted Editor's Choice award, saying the
@workStation Network Computer "offers the best combination of features,
performance and ease-of-use."

Network World Magazine recently called the @workStation "the real
threat to the PC" in a review of network computers from a variety of
manufacturers. Customers such as AARP Pharmacy Services and Burlington
Coat Factory are deploying HDS @workStation NCs in volume.

AARP has deployed more than 1,000 @workStation Network Computers and
the NTRIGUE operating system for a sophisticated, mission-critical
customer management application.

The HDS @workStation NC is designed for business environments as an
easy-to-install and easy-to-administer alternative to the personal
computer.

According to the Gartner Group, a Network Computer like the HDS
@workStation can save up to 39% of the cost of ownership of a PC, or
approximately $17,000 over five years. Using these numbers, a company
with as few as 100 desktops can save $1.7 million by deploying NCs
instead of PCs.

HDS has been first-to-market with virtually every new technology in the
Network Computer industry because of the standards-based, open design
of the HDS netOS operating system. HDS was first to add Java, the
Navigator and Spyglass web browsers, email, video-conferencing, the ICA
protocol, a full suite of terminal emulators and Windows CIFS (Common
Internet File System) protocol.

Because of the open, standard design of the netOS operating system,
many of these capabilities were added to the HDS @workStation in a
matter of weeks, while competitors have yet to offer them. HDS
considers the ability to quickly add capabilities to its products to be
a major competitive advantage in the fast-moving Internet market, and
plans to use this advantage to continue to maintain its lead in the NC
market.

HDS netOS, the operating system in the @workStation NC, is offered
under license to OEMs for quick and easy deployment of
application-specific Network Computers for a variety of markets.

HDS Network Systems, of King of Prussia, is a leading international
supplier of Network Computers and related software, which are
cost-effective solutions for the integration and delivery of
information and applications to the desktop.
