Hey Ted.. isnt it kind of strange for a government to be preaching more energy and conservation and such to be cutting funding as I've heard Bush is doing for alternative fuels? No, its not strange. You can try to conserve energy and suggest that others do so without spending money on alternates that don't make economic sense. When oil gets rare enough the alternative fuels will makes sense and will be used. You won't even need a lot of government spending because when the price of oil gets high enough the private sector will develop and market alternatives. Tim
