edamo, For me this is a buy and hold. I will acknowledge that there are far better places to make speculative bets with a rising market. It is only a matter of time before Dell moves up. The efficiencies of the company won't be ignored right into year end. The launch of WindowsXP is no doubt going to be huge for a company that is very efficient just before that. OK..you got it right short term...or so it seems...we will know for sure in a week or so. I don't believe the PC market is as competitive as analysts/media make it out to be. It is not anything like the semiconductor segment that is stuck with high capacities...and that sector is being bought! ..for the longer term.<g> Just wait til XP! How can the PC biz be much different...just a matter of a time horizon. Dell's early gains this year are hurting performance short term, IMHO.
