I think history has taught us that evil cannot be sustained.....that its always only a temporary situation, one that eventually humanity learns a lesson from. The Nazi Germany ? The orphanages where kids were abused...? Yes that was bad...but in a way it ushered in a new world order... Society cannot take preventive steps until it understands the consequences of a decision or a law...I think the worst blow suffered by capitalism was the disintegration of Soviet Union... Not saying we should let it be free for all...just saying that too much interference and regulation is just as bad as too little... I agree with you...the line has to be drawn, but still, personal freedom should not be compromised...i wouldn't like to be lying there waiting for a decent exit, while the buceaucratic machinary chuggs along.... JMHO.
