A friend tells a story of buying at market one time following news, he put in an order for ten or twenty per cent more than was showing at the ask price, expecting the remainder to be a nickel or dime higher at the most ... well he ended up paying more for the rest than he did total for the majority .... wish i could recall the ticker, it was one you would have expected to be more liquid, especially that day ... just nobody watching it except him at that moment, i guess
Looking at kidl's pas.to and hwd.to ... interesting ... didn't George Tromp used to mention Platinova ... and somebody else used to talk about Highwood, maybe four years ago .... there's likely a thread in the archives
Nobody's showed up on the Denstone thread yet - forums.canada-stockwatch.com ... chap from arz.to mentioned in the last release - now there's an interesting little gold nobody talks about ... big leverage there but only when the PoG makes ~325 ... they tell their story well on their website, aurizon.com i think ... i used to associate arz.to and img.to together, can't remember why
All these little forgotten outfits - dst.v, pas.to, hwd.to, Lenny's dml.v, so many others - they'll all get run to an extent ... with a package of them and a disciplined approach to acb reduction, a person could do well ... but i have to agree with halcrow here, sometimes you wonder if you should retain any faith in ultimate success at all - forums.canada-stockwatch.com ... however, when it's house-money paper you're holding, it takes the sting out of it
aur.to - CC crosses 3m this morning at 2.90 ... i smell 3.60 comin'
crj.to - 1Q out, penny per share loss, cash flow positive ... says 'substantial working capital' and then doesn't give the figure in brackets immediately following ... duh ... number of shares out today, cash in hand, people want to know that stuff right off, on first glance |
